For major projects, bids are advertised in the Tri-City Herald. If the major project is construction-related, in addition to advertising in the Tri-City Herald, plan sets are made available electronically via the Tri-City Construction Council at tricityplancenter.com with a direct link posted on the port’s website under Bid Opportunities.
New construction projects and maintenance projects under $300,000 utilize the Port’s Small Works Roster. Contractors and property maintenance providers are encouraged to complete the Port’s Application at any time.
Companies offering professional services such as architecture, landscape architecture, civil engineering, environmental engineering, and marine engineering specializing in design and construction of buildings, structures, roadways, utilities, landscape design, surveying and environmental assessments, marinas, and identification of hazardous substances, are not required to complete the Professional & Small Works Roster. Instead, please submit one copy of your firm’s Statement of Qualifications to Port of Kennewick, 350 Clover Island Drive, Suite 200, Kennewick, WA 99336. The Statement of Qualifications should include: 1) History of the firm. 2) List of examples projects and type of work your firm performs. 3) At least five references with contact names and phone numbers. 4) Resumes of key staff.
