For the past two decades, the port has been working to stabilize Clover Island’s shoreline, enhance its habitat for fish and expand recreation and improve economic opportunities on Kennewick’s historic waterfront. A construction project that started in October 2021 is complete, and the port is hosting a public celebration event on Friday, May 12.
