Vista Field represents one of the most ambitious community creation endeavors in Washington state in recent years. This new regional town center aims to raise the bar for what urban spaces are in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Vista Field is at the commercial core of the Tri-Cities (Kennewick, Pasco and Richland, Washington), with easy access to a diverse and well-connected transportation network. The site is near the Columbia Center Mall and adjacent to the Vista Entertainment District, which includes the Three Rivers Convention Center and Toyota Center.

There will be a mix of businesses, residences, waterways, pathways, a public plaza, and other gathering places that reflect the local culture at full build-out. The residential options will appeal to various ages and incomes and include single-family homes, condos, multi-family housing, spaces for mother-in-law cottages and even opportunities for places to live above and work below.

Port of Kennewick led a multi-year community engagement effort to involve the public in the planning for the future of Vista Field. The Port, City of Kennewick and Benton County collaborated on preparing for development.

In the heart of the Pacific Northwest

The Tri-Cities have always played a significant role in Washington state’s economy. With a growing population of 304,000, the Tri-Cities metropolitan region comprises the cities of Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland and surrounding communities.

The area is in the heart of the Pacific Northwest and is well-known for high-quality agriculture, a tremendous wine scene, and year-round activities for those who love the outdoors.
